Olivia Colman did great but it's not clearly a LEADING role .. if u see the film she's the queen but out of the 3 the most important role is of Lala land girl.. so this will hurt Olivia's chances.. Glenn's role is subtle with undercurrent.. most of general People dsnt understand those imp nuances therefore they think Olivia or even Gaga ! Lol. Anyways my vote for Glenn hands down. Olivia's chances would much much more if she was in supporting actress award not for leading..

    Should Win : Olivia Colman

Obviously Glenn Close will win she has won the sag, golden globe, critics choice but hands down Olivia Colman is the real winner

Olivia Colman is such a gift of an actor and unequivocally gives the best performance of the year in the favourite, but it's nothing less than tragic that she wouldn't win it but I hope she atleast wins the BAFTA

Of course Glenn Close will win, due to sentimental crap reasons, but hands down Olivia Colman is the one who should win, her portrayal of Queen Anne is so beautifully layered and deft that I can't think of a better performance this year. But when has the Oscars honoured the deserving

Glenn Close is due this year/time.

Olivia Colman should win hands down. Her work as Queen Anne was superior, and there is no comparrison.

I've seen all performances in this category, and while I think Glenn Close will win it based on her performance which saved 'The Wife', I think Olivia Coleman will pull the upset for 'The Favorite'. That film had three excellent performances.

Glenn deserves it not only for her great work
in ‘The Wife’, but also for ‘Fatal Attraction’ from 1987, an Oscar worthy performance for which she should have won and didn’t.
