A proposed bill in Washington could make the measles vaccine mandatory, with religious or medical exemptions. Do you approve?
Heck yes — if I can't send my child to school with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, your kid shouldn't be able to bring measles.

Not at all! I find this hypocritical of this socialist state. How is it that a woman gets to "choose" if her baby lives or dies, but we're all forced to put unknown chemicals into our bodies?

This is an excellent opportunity to debate personal freedoms and common good. With all the data pointing to the fact vaccines harm virtually no one, I have to conclude putting my personal freedoms aside to help others is the right choice here.

I personally think getting a vaccine is the smart thing to do, but I don't think the government regulating what goes into my body is a great idea. The answer here isn't legislation, but better education.
