There are many successful, famous people from Long Island.
It woulda took be right to leave the others without recognition too.
We must keep some of Long Island’s history too.
We can’t re name everything.
But praise to this group for their accomplishments.

What is the matter with people? The real hero’s are the police, fire, and service men & women.
A highway named after a rap group is an insult to any intelligent human being.
Whoever is trying to organize this and try and push it through is an assnibe idiot.

I think that it is a great way to offer tribute to them for their past and current message as well as their National Recognition. I do think that they should reconsider the name of the 1-mile space. Something that rolls off the tongue a little better: PUBLIC ENEMY WAY, PUBLIC ENEMY BLVD.... Just an idea.
If that doesn't work, how about renaming Centennial Park or a Community Center????
Blessings
