Kathryn Chancellor was the matriarch of all matriarchs. She was and remained a grand lady throughout her time on Y & R. The Nikki character is very well played but it takes a certain kind of "lady" to personify the strength and leadership of a matriarch...that would be Kathryn.

Hard choice, I like Nikki as well as I like Katherine. Katherine had a dryer personality than Nikki .Love them both, they were very different and of course Katherine is no longer with us.

Oh my Nikki is one of , if not my favorite soap ladies of all times. I sat down with a friend of mine on the first showing of Y&R & when Nikki joined the show I thought they had hired an angel. God Bless all on Y&R from Rose53???? & family
