    Government is very effective when private industry has strong incentives to do the wrong thing because monetary damages are paid by someone else.     Less government, the better. MU slowed down vendor innovation and burdened healthcare institutions to meet worthless requirements. Let the market figure it out. It worked for VHS, DVD, Blu-Ray, the internet, html, etc...
