Loaded weapons and kids don't mix. No parent could survive their child killing themselves but 2/3 of gun deaths are suicides.
Break up with your 16 year old girlfriend and kill yourself makes sense for about 10 minutes and 10 seconds is all it takes.
Responsible gun owners secure their firearms!

I am a retired high school principal. I still remember the day when a “brother” of a student drove on to campus at the close of school to pick up said “brother”. The driver had a loaded gun. Kids ran and told me he was a threat and the SRO stopped what could have been a tragedy. NO GUNS ON CAMPUSES EVER!!!

When I was growing up those that drove to school had guns in the back window rack, nobody bothered them there were no school shootings what happened? Do you think video games depicting violent shooting have had an affect on our young people society? When I lived in Arizona as a young person it was an Open Carry State and you saw people with pistols strapped on their waist, what happened?

It is currently legal to do so with CWP. Another reason to get your CWP. What is a police officers prefered backup? An armed citizen!

The High School I went to had an indoor Shooting range the School had a Rifle club and taught RESPONSIBILITY...never had any of this.
Guns are not the problem it is disrespect, lack of accountability and responsibility that has permeated society.
People are so immature now days and want to blame somebody else when they err.
If you abuse a gun it is your choice not the guns YOU are!

One of the saddest incidents on a school campus in recent history in AZ was when a young student at NAU felt he was being bullied and was in danger. He went to his locked car, got his gun and killed a fellow student and injured others. How short is our collective memory?

We're talking school age kids here. Who get mad at each other on a regular basis. Not the brightest idea from our law makers.

Can't smoke a cigarette on a school campus but you can have a gun in your car? And, oh yeah...locked cars never get broken into, right? Well, at least all 18 year olds always make responsible choices.

I would Zagreb to having a loaded gun in your vehicle as long as the car was locked and the gun was out of sight,
