The importance of playing there goes back to tradition. A little more upgrades here and there and it will be fine. The Atlanta schools don't like leaving out of the Metro area for any sports. Sad especially the private public schools that recruit.

Loved the improvements made since last time it was there, however the overall facility could use some more up grades. I think it is an Ideal location so everyone has to travel and the nostalgia of playing there, especially if your team has been there before, is priceless. Pave the parking lot, provide separate bus parking, maybe some more lights on the actual court. Overall I enjoyed the games and atmosphere!!!

It was dark, dirty and old. To go from Buford HS to Macon....Huge disappointment. It smelled and the floors were sticky. I arrived as the doors opened and I headed straight to the restroom only to find the restrooms already dirty. GT would have been a better venue.

It’s not in a convenient location to most teams. It’s dirty. The parking lot is full of potholes and not well lit. UGA/GT would be ideal. Holding the games at one or both of those locations makes it feel more important. I don’t feel like Macon is anything special.
