It wasn't a deal breaker for me buying my '22 SS, but it is pretty crappy to have everything else about the car be completely awesome, but have a washed out and dim infotainment screen because of a poor design. The difference between mine and the one in my wife's 2018 GMC Terrain is literally night and day.

Drove a 6th gen for 10k miles, no issues at all with the screen position, even from day one . perfectly acceptable
