What is the next level for the Hammers

"Next Level" as described by the owners before the move, I'm sure was interpretated by most as "Champions League". "World-class stadium..." and all that. But let's be realistic here - baby steps. Relegation-free for now, then make a dent and a serious challenge for 7th for a couple of seasons, then we can have a Top 6 goal.
It takes time to encourage the players we need to achieve these goals to come to West Ham. No CL-level player is seriouly going to consider us right now. We're too much of a risk. Look at Payet when he came. When we didn't supplement the squad with enough decent players to mount a serious challenge, he was off. We missed a great opportunity there.

Yes top half ok with me with occasional good run in the FA cup and league. Not so much players don't care but set up wrong v Everton. However, with injuries etc. Pelle did not have much choice. Need Fredericks, Noble, Anderson and Arnie to start against Chelski I would not want our club owned by the evil sand devils who run Man C or by the Putin clones who run Chelski.

The way they performed last Saturday relegation. From the first minute we were awful. We need players who actually care about the club and will fight for 90 minutes. Some last week didn’t and don’t care a toss about us. I hope they move on over the summer and we all know who the players are.

Like Scott, Top 10 every season is next level to me, then top 6 once established. Relegation free is too vague. 17th every season? I don't think that's next level.

Would actually have top half every season
