It’s already here y can’t we try a new approach with marijuana? Lot of people will agree and disagree but it’s still gonna be here right am I wrong !! So why don’t we just embrace it put into a better cause that we can use for the island and ourselves.

I see marijuana as an alternative use for medicinal purposes, for health, psychological and physical purposes. Recreational is absolutely great too.
We all should not judge but try to understand how it can help and be beneficial to those who really need it. This will be a learning experience for other purposes. Nothing is guaranteed. But if it can help, I know that it should be an option, a choice for those that marijuana can assist.
The law serves many purposes and functions in society. Four principal purposes and functions are establishing standards, maintaining order, resolving disputes, and protecting liberties and rights. The law is a guidepost for minimally acceptable behavior in society.
I always have faith that with marijuana the law shall and will prevail with the assistant in in all four principles. Thank you and have a lovely day.

Islanders are just not mature or educated enough to handle it’s legality, yes it has helped with so many illnesses such as cancer and migraines and others I’m sure however for a small island it will be taken advantage of because it is legal and that’s all it takes for the dark and negative side of it to really come out....just saying

Some people continue to have fits and tantrums because they disagree like it is going to change the fact that the Bill passed and has been signed by the Maga'ha'ga. Relax already! Your negative energy needs to be redirected otherwise your anger is only gonna hurt you more than anyone else.

I agree, but at the same time, the limitations and guidelines should’ve been handled before legalization.

The thing people need to know is that Marijuana can be controlled just like alcohol and cigarette. Designate spots. Restrict it from public areas. Control the age of use and purchase. Private and public sectors can control it in places of work.

Its not going to run rampant all over the island. You will still have people who will not smoke it, and those who will. The only difference is their weed money is paying taxes. It is finally contributing to your society. and possibly make the world a better place. Hehe.

i watched my daughter suffer with stage 4 cancer, choriocarcinoma. Medical marijuana eased her pain and made her final days with us bearable. I totally concur with the research that is being done to legalize this. If prescriptions such as Oxycontin can be legalized and controlled by the FDA, then why not medical marijuana. Alcohol and tobacco are taxed then why not medical marijuana too. I am in total support of this.
