Harden deserves MVP for what he has done with Less. To be in the West and be able to carry your team as he has is the definition of MVP. Giannis plays in the east, and he has two of the worst teams in the NBA in his division, That’s 8 wins right there! Everybody plays the Best record narrative, but that has to be thrown out of the window due to the significant discrepancy in competition in the east( the east still has teams under .500 making the playoffs...smh) Also Harden lost 2 MVP due to Narratives, GS when they had the 73 wins and Russell Triple-double. Harden has had an Historic year and she be rewarded for it. Giannis can afford to get snubbed one year, because he is only gonna get better at just 24 years old. If Giannis wins MVP this year, then you can just give it to him for the next 4-5 years...

I believe James Harden should get MVP 2 this Year because he has carried his team through injuries of team mates, and brought them from 14 seed to now 3 seed clinched in the playoffs run and still bring them. Go Rockets ! Our MVP James Harden MVP 2 .

The Bucks have load-managed Giannis and he is only 24! He has missed the second leg of multiple back-to-backs and has other DNPs. Weak. Harden is a baller. He plays 'em all. Giannis plays with another All-Star in Middleton in the East where a sub-.500 team may make the playoffs. Harden has played with 20 different starting line-ups. Harden lifts his team more and is a devastating closer. Harden has followed up an MVP season with an even better season. Harden is MVP.

MVP is most valuable player it’s not an award for the best team. The east is weak compared to the west. Shooting percentage of 57% should be 87% since most are dunks but since he can’t make a simple jump shot it’s 57%. What’s the record of each team with neither of them playing this year? Harden wins hands down.

Pure laziness from the author. Harden is putting up one of the best seasons of all time and he is far and away the leader in value. Your article and the statistics even said it. Harden’s supporting cast is better but you fail to mention the fact that he experienced a complete overhaul of the supporting cast mid season and 2 of ‘big 3’ missed an entire month. Almost averaging a point/minute, about to have the first 2,700, 500, and 500 season ever all while being top 10 in assists, 2nd in steals and is currently the best post defender in the league.
Giannis is a good player but this isn’t even close. If Kobe/MJ/LeBron had the season Harden is having, the debate would’ve been over in Feb. Get out of here with this.
