I donated over 100 times until the last time I was able to donate. Afterwards I was notified that I had tested positive for an STD. I had to report to my doctor, who I assured I had not been having unprotected sex with prostitutes. He took blood samples and sent them off. Long story short, the results were a false positive, but, because it had registered positive, I was no longer eligible to donate. If I had kept it up, I would have been nearing 300 donations by now.
