I think people look to see a bit of themselves in characters, and I don’t think it’d be right for me to say it’s not true just because I didn’t personally see it. So if you like it, I love it.
But let’s see what Disney has to offer in this live-action version of scar. Maybe the new Scar will be able to relate to another marginalized community or something. Im looking forward to it.
Side note: am I the only person that doesn’t even want to watch the trailer to Lion King before it comes out? I have loved the Lion King since I was a little kid. My first name is Kiara, pronounced the same way Simba’s daughter is, and I feel like the lion king was destined to be a part of my life. I’m sure Disney will take it seriously, but I just don’t want to walk in bias.
Either way, I’ll be excited to show my daughter both versions, the old and the new.
While I never attributed sexually to Scar, I'm willing to believe it in retrospect.
Now you know Scar wasn't getting no lion pussy. So his desperate triflin' ass was probably hittin the cross-eyed hyena (which was male).
