This is not an issue for pinhead local politicians. Stick to the issues you can handle, idiots. This is just a waste of time and resources at the local level. The only emergency is that our city council can't find more than three brain cells to rub together, between the lot of them. Stupid idiots.

Hi, Bill Franklin.
I do own a motor vehicle and drive frequently. You make no argument against the economic argument of a carbon tax- that is, increasing price decreases demand.
Take care (or don't),

Let me guess, Mark? You don’t own a motor vehicle but ride a bike when not in Mom’s basement?

Ignorant comment by IFP, for sure. I agree that there is a climate emergency- economists largely agree that the solution should be to tax fuel, which will drive down demand and promote more responsible fuel usage.
Although the scientific community agrees that the climate is changing, they can not agree if the climate is changing for the better, or the worse. If climate change means warmer temperatures in Canada, that means larger crop yields. It's simply to early to tell.
