I would put a package deal together including the following, DT Vernon Butler and a third round maybe a seventh round of next year draft

Why does it matter? You still have Newton as the “face of the Panthers”. You can’t win with only a defense if the offense can’t complete passes and score points. Some serious future planning MUST start happening if you want to keep fans.

No More kneeler. Send him as a ride-along with CMPD.

Trade him straight up for kk- since we are moving to more of a 3-4, not sure we want to keep paying a 4-3 tackle 17 million a year when we have 2 nose tackle's on the roster in Poe and love, but we definitely can't afford kk and Clark and Poe and mario, we would have a third of are entire team cap tied up in are d-line.

While I can see the benefits of trading for a proven pass rusher like Clark, he is going to end up costing whatever team he ends up on over $20m a year after seeing the Demarcus Lawrence contract. The panthers simply do not have that type of cap space to spend on Clark right now, especially with so many key players in a contract year this upcoming season. Giving up the No. 16 overall pick should certainly be out of the question, considering the outstanding talent at edge rusher coming out of the draft this season. Frank Clark would be a great piece to add to the panthers defense, unfortunately, his and the Seahawks price tag seems a bit too steep for Carolina right now.
