Should Manitoba raise tobacco taxes to offset the PST cut?

    TAX,TAX,TAX. Stop selling them, all about the money. But we know that will never happen. Loaf of bread would be $6 if they did etc. Just don't tell me it's about the health of people because if it was they wouldn't be for sale.

    I am an on/off smoker,currently on.Raising tobacco taxes to offset a cut in PST taxes is not a case of punishing smokers.Since tobacco related health issues cost our medical system so much more than all other health issues,this is more a case of punishing those of us who knowing make the choice to smoke regardless of the effect on others.

    You always raise taxes to make the stupid pay ....but to raise taxes to pay for needless NDP bureaucracy...hell no...we the people want less government not more...less government means a savings in salaries and benefits that could put everyone on the road to prosperity
