No matter how one wants to be all meticulous about thing, the point is that we all grew up with some form gambling at the carnival. The events were fun, attracted families to the point that vendors brought more kiddie games. Plus we never heard of people losing their homes as they did at cockfights or poker arcades. So yes, I agree with the games of chance at the carnival.

We have lost sight of the meaning of liberation from the pain of war. Entrepreneurs are out to make a profit from their efforts. I don’t fault them. I do fault those like the mayors who think an easy buck is worth it any way you can get it. As far as I am concerned I will take the time to watch a good parade then go to places my child could enjoy bring at like Chucky Cheese, Cafe Play, Go Play, Play Port, Sky Zone, etc. The only reason for hanging around the Paseo are the many local food vendors!????
