Unless there is existing proof beyond a reasonable doubt that Pete intentionally lost a game to win a bet, then he should absolutely be in the Hall of Fame.

Absolutely yes!! If you look in the hall of fame there are no saints. Rose should be forgiven and allowed in. Two of the greatest players ever Rose and Shoeless Joe Jackson should both be welcomed into the HOF. MLB is losing face now by allowing gambling and keeping both legends out.
