While many people would love to see some violence extracted against our local politicians, reasonableness dictates that metal detectors would be a prudent measure to ensure a modicum of safety from gun or knife violence. Metal detectors in no way stifle any protest or debate and to suggest as much is pathetically self important and sanctimonious. Come on “activists”, you’re leaking credibility.
