Anna Podojil and the 4x400 relay team, Indian Hill - The senior won the Division II girls 400-meter dash with a time of 53.67. The Indian Hill 4x400 team of freshman Elizabeth Whaley, sophomore Meghan Obrien, junior Ellie Podojil and senior Anna Podojil ran away from the pack for a Division II title with a state-record time of 3:49.30, over seven seconds better than runner-up Buchtel. Indian Hill captured a team state championship in a route with 43 points. The Lady Braves edged runner-ups Oakwood and Arkon St. Vincent-St. Mary's by 15 points. 48% (108 votes)
Kaylyn Heath, Serena Clark and the girls 400 relay, Lakota East - Kaylyn Heath, a senior, took home the 100-meter dash crown with a time of 11.93, narrowly beating out teammate Serena Clark (12.12). Clark, a junior, earned a D-I title in the 200-meter run, finishing with a time of 12.12. The team of Heath, Clark, junior Dawn Hilton and freshman A'zariyah Bryant won the 400 relay with a time of 45.82, setting an event and stadium record. As a result of these efforts, the Lakota East girls track team won its first-ever team state championship with 65 points. 28% (64 votes)
