AS long as the Colonel's personality is still the noble and amiable man his name is of little import. But Steven is a strong name. I always try to keep an open mind when reading a variation with changed names or circumstances to the original. An author is creating a new story with beloved characters and most certainly has the license to apply their wishes to the characters.
