I don't care what happens in EQG. I don't watch it, I ignore it completely. As long as they don't do anything in the actual show where things matter, I don't care.

I know for sure it's not really canon, that the show will continuously insist that they are better as friends than anything more. Course, I won't blame people for thinking that there may indeed be any 'subtle' hints even if Rarity shows more of an interest in men, we never see Applejack doing that sort of deal (She's more of a 'work horse' than a lassie looking for love anyways). But because of the fact that it is 'kind of' cute there's this representation which was strongly shown during that trip to the amusement park I will admit I 'did' like it. I know times are changing that the whole 'black and white' concept of romance is starting to become a dying breed, years go by and most shows make this some 'breakthrough' story and not just subtly thrown in. And people can go on and on forever of how there is little-to-no connection between 'FIM and E.G.' but frankly... I just don't care because if the inevitable is to come and turns out they are connected all along, I'm just going in already knowing what was expected.
As far as this goes, if they 'do' decide to take this bold step and have them perhaps acknowledge that it is 'possible' for such a thing to happen and not just having best friends... Good on them for letting this happen, not to support the group that encourages this but for 'humanity'. And even if it doesn't... That won't be a big loss, at least not for fans like myself. Because at the end of the day, whether they become an item or not, even if they are 'completely' different in terms of viewpoints and life choices, Applejack and Rarity truly are good friends. I can only hope that they stay this way when both Friendship is Magic comes to an end and if rumors are true that production on 'Equestria Girls' truly has ceased. Frankly, I don't see how they 'could' go on when Friendship is Magic ends anyway... Oh well, it was good while it lasted.
The sex between Applejack and Rarity would be so hard, it would make even Bloomberg blush. It makes me all hot and bothered as a Brony. :D

Pretty indifferent to be honest. Like if it does become canon, plenty of obvious groundwork for it (moreso than other gay last minute reveals), if it doesn't, no harm no foul. Don't come to this show for romance, and Flash Sentry has been made all the better (if still undeveloped) by dropping it from his character.
I just don't want this to be a throwaway, last minute reveal that happens literally as the characters are saying goodbye if it does become a thing. I also don't want to hear anything about "keep this out of muh kids shows", especially in a fandom that's been shipping Lyra and Bon Bon along with the Mane 6 with each other for years.
Also, where'd you go Marvel&Ponder? I miss you... you were a cool mod.

Still see them as friends, and I say that as someone who's been wishing for more Rarity and AJ interactions ever since S4. It's a good duo.
