What do you think of our view on Mexico?

I guess that the results are telling in this case. 1) The Mexican officials have said that they have made a new deal - and in Spanish-speaking newscasts have indicated that the deal is good and that Mexico really had no real alternative than to help stop the immigrant flow across their country to the US. BTW, the "It happened 2 months ago" is totally belied by the Mexican responses in their own country. Sure, everything was discussed, but like in Chian, nothing was really committed. The editorial board to look at reality and less at MSM talking points against Trump.

I was surprised about the petty comments about no sensible trade or immigration focus. Actually, he has a trade focus that in the case of China has brought widespread approval on both sides of the aisle - and the Mexican negotiation is similar in their lack of commitment to actually deliver unless threatened in some way to enforce their own laws instead of facilitating caravans to the US.

My own experience in corporate strategy shows DJT's brilliance - gaining improvement in trade rules without open conflict through leverage to improve America's economy and slow illegal immigration since the Democrat House and the Republican/Chamber of Commerce people won't. And setting it up so that even if prices go up, more jobs come with the price rises - an excellent trade-off. I would suggest that the folks at the editorial board focus on a serious study of economics and trade negotiations before bloviating talking points against Trump. You sound like someone who doesn't know what you're talking about.
