Those illegals from African nations are actually bringing in the e-bola virus and those from the Central American countries are also bring their native diseases with them some of which can be fatal. ALL IMMIGRATION NEEDS TO BS SHUT DOWN NOW until those here have been thoroughgoing vetted.

Go to NewesWithViews.com and look for recent articles Devvy Kidd has written about the subject. the one on e-bola should scare the heck ouit of you; it does me!

Tariffs are effective in the short and medium term. The MXN will take a large hit in its value. That effects Mexico globally. The pain will be widely felt but mostly by the elites.

Where I find fault with the author is that the imposition of tariffs will lead to long term business decisions to relocate manufacturing jobs to the USA.

These are temporary measures that will not effect long term business decisions.

I find this article incredibly naive, and not surprising coming from a boder petrol official whose understanding of basic economics is null.
Undoubtedly the better economic development by our neighbors to the South the more they'll buy from the USA.
It's not a coinsidense that the states closest to the border have benefitted most from this bilateral trade.

I sell a number of products which are imported from China. The reality is that American consumers pay the cost of tariffs. Most likely a 5-10% Mexican tariff would be absorbed somewhere along the distribution chain but much more than that and the American consumer will pay. “...since companies that produce goods in Mexico could avoid the tariffs simply by relocating to America.” That comment is so incredibly over simplified that I am surprised USA Today even allowed it. The cost of relocation in many cases is a big one. It is a process that takes a lot of time to plan and accomplish. And such a move is often extremely expensive and very disruptive to the normal flow of business - there is nothing simple about it. I’m all for Mexico doing a million times more to control illegal immigration, but this article is very short sighted and overly simplified.

The thought that waging economic attacks is just a one way street that only the USA can benefit from is pause for thought.
What happens when countries start playing the game back to the USA.
Russia, China, Iran, India, Canada, the EU, Mexico Cuba they all have been blindsided.
The world of oil has already seen China gather reserves all over the world Russia just snapped up Venezuela
heavy oil. Now the Tech world is in play and the stakes are high and our leadership in the USA has been narrowed down to "Donnie the Loonie Tune" I Quit, Your Fired, Everybody is Stupid, The Lies, The Insanity,
And the idiots that think this is good for the USA Remember What Goes Around Comes Around Watch Out

    This is a ridiculous article.
No real facts. It's FAKE news.
Who will end up paying for the price hikes from these dumb tariffs? Not the mexican people. We are.
So short sighted it's not even funny.
