I agree with Bobm for the reasons he cited. Air travel is growing exponentially world-wide. AMLO's alternative--- recycling two other airports in close proximity to the existing one---amount to nothing more than a band-aid when major surgery was needed. In time (and sooner rather than later) the cancellation of the new airport will be viewed for what it is---a huge mistake, and by then resurrecting it will be far more costly than the original construction would have been. It's a huge blunder on AMLO's part.

Cancelling the new airport was a big mistake by the new president. It would have become a major hub between North America and Latin America, as well as servicing Europe and ASIs. Big error!
