  I recently sent Elon Musk a concept package I’ve been proposing, to assist in the development of a electrified “gyrocopter”. The typical design of this extremely safe flying platform makes this a perfect vehicle he could use towards research. It’s primary advantage is it is not affected by torque , as would be the case for a typical helicopter. It also appears this platform would be a suitable flying platform on Mars. Again, the torque factor is gone, along with the weight necessary for the counteraction of torque and it’s mechanicals. I believe I had found a Chinese manufacture electric motor, with competing power against the typically used. gas powered systems. It weight if I recall was +/- 50 #lbs

  we will see cargo ships with masts and under the water the screws will turn to charge batteries for when the wind is calm.

  Everything is possible. As Napoleon said, the word impossible is becoming irrelevant. Even before the anticipated time frame , the electric planes will replace the other forms of planes.

  The pace and power of technology is so strong that nothing can prevent just any dream from materialising.

  it's unfeasable. The weight and loads are just to much to ever get it off the ground. What other fuel can do it? Batteries or solar cells? No way. A car on wheels on the ground is in itself a challenge.
