Houston has 2 great guards that would have been like pairing Jerry West and Oscar Robertson- they may actually be the long shot winner because the west has high level parity which may keep their won lost records moderate after beating each other up. BUT should be the best season ever for great games before the playoffs. And the Warriors will be really a curiosity and interesting if they make the final 8 with Thompson back.

Lakers are trash. The last five years they’ve been a dysfunctional ball club They were once the greatest, now the clippers are taking over. Better ball club and on the path to start collecting championships

In all the talk about "super teams", the Spurs are completely overlooked. They have the best coach in the league, they have depth and they play a style different from any other team. Although they shoot a high percentage, the three point shot is NOT the be all, end all for the Spurs. Perhaps being different, being overlooked and being smart will serve San Antonio well. Either way, REMEMBER THE ALAMO!
