I'd like to add a Children's book, Bella the Blue Crab, to the category of things to do on a' Rainy Day' or create a new category of "Favorite Local Children's book".
I am a local Children's Author with ties to the Eastern Shore - particularly Ocean City area and recently published my first debut Children's book, Bella the Blue Crab. Bella the Blue Crab showcases the beautiful Chesapeake Bay, Eastern Shore and of course the family favorite beaches of MD and DE. During these difficult times, we are all looking for creative ways of teaching and entertaining our children with positive messages.
I'm delighted and honored to share that Bella the Blue Crab recently received the READERS' FAVORITE 5 Star Review in every category it was evaluated in and I've shared the link below for your preview.
I was recently interviewed on the UK radio station 'Chat and Spin' regarding my debut Children's book and was honored to be asked by the National Children's Hospital and the National Institute of Health (NIH) - Children's Inn to create a Storytime video/movie of my book for the patients of the Children's Hospital during this health pandemic.
More recently, my book was featured on the UK based production "Storytime with Mr. Read" and by the "Golden Isles Mermaid Jessica" - links below.

As a local Children's Author, I wanted to showcases local favorites to include Fisher's Popcorn and the iconic McCormick 'Old Bay' seasoning, both companies that I partnered with to feature in my book. My goal was for the book to be a 'feel good' representation of the Eastern Shore, were I spent countless summers as a child.

Bella the Blue Crab is a wonderful story of a brave little She-crab who helps save the Chesapeake Bay. Bella is a positive role model who enjoys helping her fellow sea creatures with acts of kindness and bravery. Bella’s story comes alive through the beautifully animated pictures of the Chesapeake Bay, where the blue crab is celebrated and enjoyed!
