With all due respect to Doyle, I feel the Colts need a personality like Ebron in the locker room as much as his superior athletics on the field. A locker room needs cheerleaders and “faces” every much as it needs the quieter introspective leaders that project a solid foundation. I think his performance in Detroit has been proven to be the result of scheme and talent. Even is he doesn’t perform to quite the level as last year, which is likely given the addition of Funchess and Campbell, he’s such a threat he has to be retained another three years in my opinion. I really hope Funchess works out but I don’t see him in Colts uniform after this year. I have a feeling he either prices himself as too expensive if he has Ebron-ish success or doesn’t produce and is allowed to loo elsewhere with all the young talent the Colts have.
