I wish it was true but 73% is a fantasy. I hope it comes true soon. In any case, we must insist of bio-degradable bags and eliminate asap the use of woven synthetic bags which eventually will become a serious problem when they are retired.

I carry a couple cloth bags with me, and I always have a couple of single use plastic bags (that I have saved over the years) in my purse for when I need them, which get used up to a dozen times before they go in the recycle. Not sure why they call them single use.
