Gateway WILL be building their casino in this area whether anybody likes it or not. London Not approving this at the next meeting screams they'd rather that money and all of those jobs go to another community than our own.
The casino in any of those other places listed would have just as much of a negative impact on the Native communities near London, as well as everyone else, as it would if it were located in London. Except if it's not IN London we lose all the jobs and money it would provide to Londoners. Those other options are all still this same area

I agree with most of the comments above.... Why would these dumb asses not immediately rubber stamp this deal and grow the city?
Instead they are sitting on their hands making excuses and will end up staring like deer in the headlights when the deal fails and Gateway supports another community....If it
does fail they have absolutely no one to blame except themselves for their own ass dragging and incompetence..... Get with the times Councillors!

Totally incompetent. The western fair deal is dead. Let's approve the Wonderland Road offer. First they don't know that expropriations aren't covered by the other levels of government and now this......????? Perhaps we need new leaders in the next election.

Why can't they keep the casino at The Western Fair Raceway. It is far more convenient with more buses than the south end of London.

What do you expect? Three MPP’s from the New Dipstick Party, Kate (do nothin’) Young, a council of mostly lefty socialists, a newspaper over top of a fast food joint, how could the city possibly fail? London, biggest small town in North America. Even has a bunch of fat, corrupt cops, just like some southern American town.

Our city Council couldn’t run a one car parade. Our city of almost 400k people can’t even keep a McDonalds downtown. That’s a really bad reflection on our city. Not that I’m a Big Mac guy but really you think our city needs to clean up downtown?
