Do the benefits to students of a large regional high school with a diverse educational program outweigh the longer bus ride many students may have to endure?

I believe Travel safety should be first and foremost in the placement of the schools as winter roads up north are shared single lane heavy truck traffic, white outs are usually the case in times of early school release, many folks believe that the school should be placed in the middle of the two major high schools for winter travel safety I was raised in St David and am no stranger to long bus rides. I also think the 200 acres behind the SJVTC center would be a prime location for the schools. The older children enrolled in the SJVTC programs would merely walk over to the tec center for education eliminating and cutting travel cost to a minimum and maximizing the safety of our students. The ride is approximately 15 minutes in either direction from the SJVTC for Fort Kent and Madawaska students and staff alike. I have ridden the bus both ways and know from sitting in the seats
