Blessed Jackie Robinson, Jim Gilliam, Don Newcombe, Roy Campanella, pray for us.

Washington has good starting pitching. Dodgers are 3-4 against Cardinals. I would prefer Dodgers play Brewers.

Brewers are hot now, but feel we can take them on more easily than Nat's who are hot as well and have great pitching and then the Cardinals who are playing lights out and we have lost to them in the past, plus great pitching!!

    You know what blows? Bob

  • Bob HAYES - 5 years ago

It doesn't matter who the Dodgers play. I don't trust the bullpen and they won't be hitting as many homers off of the strong pitchers they will face. Even if they somehow get through this round they will blow the next one.

I want the dodgers to play the brewers, they beat them last year in 7 thrilling games, they can do it again this year. as for the World Series I want the Yankees, but I wouldn't mind a rematch with the astros. How about MAEDA as the closer ?

It won't matter who they play. Other them Hill the whole team is HEALTHY , RESTED and READY to play the game called

" TIME FOR DODGER BASEBALL" .... Dodger S in three (3)

Dodgers have roughed up Milwaukee's closer Hader this season and without Yelich, they are the team we want to go against. Bad history with St. Louis and hot pitchers in Washington make the Brew Crew the least troublesome.

The Cards have a history of giving the Dodgers a hard time - I don't know why except the two teams from the original National League have always fought tooth and nail ………………..

Let’s hope Kershaw finally shows up to win in post season. Keep fingers crossed on bullpen performance. Please don’t start Taylor and Hernandez. Between the two, 1/3 of game is lost on their strikeouts. We don’t need Barnes on roster either, more. Waisted at bats with strikeouts.

Not the Cardinals. They've killed the Dodgers in the past in the postseason. Milwaukee does well against them too, notwithstanding no Yelich. Would prefer the Nationals

  • Paul - 5 years ago

Milwaukee (without Yelich) I think is the Dodgers best chance. And can we somehow convince Kershaw when he starts that it is the 3rd inning so he quits giving up runs so early?

Nats would give the Dodgers fits. Great starting pitching (terrible bullpen, but they'll have a much shorter bullpen -- in terms of who actually gets the ball -- in a 5-game series) and they've been hot for weeks. Lots of good right-handed hitters to match up against Ryu and Kersh.

Doesn’t really matter who they play. If your goal is to win WS then you better bring your A game. It’s showtime!!!

I prefer Milwaukee just to see Front Row Amy!????

  • Judy - 5 years ago

Any team but the Cardinals! I love the Dodgers and I remember too many heart breaks at the hands of the Cards! GO BLUE!

It’s all about the weather for me. Indoor baseball this time of year seems less likely to generate game delays (which screw up pitching rotations), potential weather related injuries, and shadows. While there are still shadow/sun issues, Milwaukee gets my vote. I also think we match up better with them.

  • PETER ALLING - 5 years ago

I VOTED FOR THE CARDINALS. HOWEVER I FORGOT THAT YELICH WAS OUT AND ABOUT THAT CARDINAL PITCHER I THINK IS JOHN AND LAST NAME THAT STARTS WITH F...... I THINK HE WAS THE REAL GOOD CARDINAL PITCHER. BUT, I COULD'T CHANGE MY VOTE TO - BREWERS - . ALSO, I THINK THE NATIONALS GIVE THE DODGERS THE HARDEST TIME.

  • Marc Matheny - 5 years ago

Anyone but the Cardinals. The Cardinals have had the Dodgers number for the last 10 years.

  • Marty Perry - 5 years ago

Doesn’t matter who they face ROBERTs will screw it up

  • STEVE - 5 years ago

GOING TO A DODGER GAME IS ON MY LIFETIME BUCKET LIST, UNFORTUNITLY I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO EFFORD ONE..BUT WATCHING THEM WIN ON TV WILL BE FANTASTIC!!

  • Don Riley - 5 years ago

I fear the Cardinals because years of playoff failures with SL haunt me...especial SL vs LA 86...when Tom Neidenfuer served up a nice big fat cheeseburger to Jack Clark who hit that HR... same series when the Wizzard of Oz, Ozzie Smith his his very rare HR to beat the Dodgers. So no more Cardinals, thank you. I would take my birthplace, the Milwaukee Brewers instead. Even tho they are hot right now, i prefer them over the nats---especially without Christian yelich. Go Dodger Blue!

  • Matt Gaffney - 5 years ago

The Brewers, Yelich is out & he's their Big Stick. Given past history, St. Louis is the least favorable team for the dodgers to play. Of course all of this hinges on whether or not Kershaw does his annual October choke. Limit his starts, less chance for him to choke.

  • Bob Martinez - 5 years ago

I would love to see Dodgers defeat the St. Louis Cardinals because we know how arrogant St. Louis fans are and besides I have a bet with my buddy in St. Louis

  • Edward R Quigley - 5 years ago

I’m afraid of the Cardinals due to their right hand hitting lineup against Keyshawn and Ryu,I would prefer the Dodgers go with Buehler and Gonsolin against the Cardinals. The Cardinals are also tough in a five game series as thell see Flaherty twice. Roberts will probably use Kershaw and Ryu even a though the Cards will likely hit the hem. The Brewers will lose to the Dodgers as Yelich is out. Then I don’t care who the Dodgers play in a seven game series, then the Dodgers will beat the Astros but the Yankees are so right hand dominant,I fear them and Paxton has been good lately. The Yankee bullpen is very good and since I go back toBrooklyn days I fear the Yankees and hate them

I would say it's a toss-up between the Cards and Brewers. On one hand, the Cards have a true ace in Jack Flaherty has been the hottest NL starting pitcher since the ASG; on the other hand the Brewers have the most dominant closer in Josh Hader lurking in their bullpen. However, the Nats starting pitching truly scares me.....the three-headed beast that is Scherzer, Strasburg, and Corbin is a nightmare matchup in a short division series.

  • Terry Briley - 5 years ago

Nats have awesome starting pitching. St Louis is always dangerous in the post season.
The Brewers are hot but I prefer them over the other 2 possibilities.

  • Michael - 5 years ago

    Washington has the pitching.
    St. Louis has the pedigree.
    Milwaukee has the.......?

  • Steve Sorkin - 5 years ago

If I had my druthers, I'd prefer the Detroit Tigers...oops, they're in the wrong league. How about them mighty Marlins from Miami?

  • Andy - 5 years ago

I live in the DC area and have tickets for the first game at Nats park
