Brokered loads: Have you filed on a bond over nonpayment for an intrastate (within a state's boundaries) load?

The hardest, dirtiest, nastiest load I ever hauled was an in-state move of some heavy, dirty pipe from a job site to a sugar plant. Had to help load it, even with a forklift it was terrible. Went home and showered, then took the load 3 hours away and unloaded it. Showered again. Was so glad to be done with that @#$%. Broker stiffed me and I never got a dime for that load. I did NOT file on his bond- I was a newbie owner operator and really didn't know how at the time. Memorable at least, it was :-)
