Torin Byrnes, Kenosha Tremper: The sophomore outside hitter led the team to a comeback victory over Kenosha Bradford in the regional final Friday by posting 29 kills with a .550 hitting percentage. He also had five digs, four blocks and one ace in the 12=25, 23-25, 28-26, 25-23, 15-3 win over the Red Devils. 29% (3,318 votes)

Kate Poellmann, Dominican volleyball : The junior outside hitter led the Knights to victories over Ozaukee and Living Word Lutheran by posting an average of 12.5 kills per match with a .537 hitting percentage. In a 25-15, 25-19, 25-19 victory over Living Word Lutheran in the regional final Saturday, she had a team-high 15 kills with a .520 hitting percentage, 11 digs and nine serves received. 28% (3,190 votes)

Lauren Carson, Catholic Memorial tennis: The junior led the Crusaders to their first state championship. Slowed by a neck injury for most of the season, she finished third at the individual state meet Oct. 19. Saturday, she won two matches at team state, sealing the school’s first championship with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Kohler’s Shelby Horth. 11% (1,289 votes)

Donavan Hunt, Brookfield East football: The senior’s string of big games continued Friday when he ran for 148 yards in 18 carries in a 42-14 victory over Slinger. He averaged 8.2 yards per carry, his best single-game average since Week 1. He scored three touchdowns, two on short runs in the third quarter that helped the Spartans break open the game. The performance was Hunt's third straight with more than 100 yards. He has 1,334 yards and 18 touchdowns in 192 carries. 11% (1,218 votes)

Lily Rosenau, Milwaukee Reagan swimming: The sophomore led the Huskies to a second-place finish at the City Conference meet Saturday at Riverside by winning four events. She took the 50- and 100-yard freestyle in 26.81 and 58.87 seconds, respectively. She was also part of first-place finishes in the 200 medley relay (2 minutes 5.64 seconds) and 200 freestyle relay (1 minute, 54.35 seconds). 8% (901 votes)

Christian Pedone, Catholic Central football: The freshman played the hero by hitting a 21-yard field goal in the Hilltoppers’ 10-7 overtime victory over Randolph to cap the team’s first playoff appearance since 2015. 6% (637 votes)

Kelley Large, Ozaukee cross country: The junior led the Warriors to the sectional title and their first state meet appearance since 2006 with a fourth-place finish at the Whitewater Sectional Saturday. She completed the 5,000-meter course in 21 minutes 25.7 seconds. The prior week she led the team to a second-place finish at the Big East Conference meet. 3% (398 votes)

Erich Legut, Waukesha West soccer: The senior recorded his seventh hat trick of the season and broke the school’s single-season record by reaching his 33rd goal of the season. The St. Louis recruit then recorded an assist in a 2-0 victory over Waukesha North in the regional final Saturday. He has recorded a point in 15 of the 19 games he has played this season. 3% (294 votes)

Ayo Adebogun, Homestead football: The junior defensive end finished with a team-high nine tackles, six solo, in a 10-7 victory over Germantown Friday. He recorded two sacks to push his season total to 15 and intercepted a pass that was deflected by Mason Resch. 2% (253 votes)

Nathaniel Osborne, Brookfield Academy cross country: The sophomore won the Whitewater Sectional Saturday, completing the 5,000-meter course at UW-Whitewater in 17 minutes 4.1 seconds. That was 22½ seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. The victory sends Osborne to the state meet for the second straight season. He took 18th in Division 3 last season. <1% (21 votes)
