Matt Duvall, Pickerington Central (OH): Culminated his cross country career with his first title, winning Ohio's Division I race in 15:13.00.
Luke Henseler, Bishop Hendricken (RI): Two years after failing to finish at the state championships, the Rhode Islander redeemed himself, winning in 15:22.70.
Gabriel Sanchez, Lowell (IN): He may have been third at his Semi-State race, but Sanchez made sure to have his best performance of the season at states, winning a highly competitive field in 15:28.70.
Oliver Paleen, Saint Paul Highland Park (MN): Paleen has been on a roll ever since Griak and he hasn't lost a race yet -- on Saturday he earned his first Class AA title in Minnesota in 15:25.20.
Gavin Sherry, Conard (CT): Won his first state title in Connecticut, earning a win at the CIAC Open State Championships in 15:38.00 -- but it was his finish, uphill, that was the most impressive and final act of his victory.
Silas Winders, Henry County (TN): Won his first TSSAA Division I title -- after finishing 14th in 2018 -- with a time of 15:28.98.
Patrick Anderson, Mt. Lebanon (PA): Posted the highest speed rating of the weekend, winning his PIAA Class AAA race in 15:26.6 for a 195 marker.
