And all his policies, his technical points and reasoning are common sense.. Do you recognise common sense?

The internet is the only place that real people can come together in a large movement to change the inequality of the US citizens. All other areas are politically driven. Enter Andrew Yang. At age 62, I think...it's about time. It's so awesome to see his humane empathy people. He leads by example with ethics and his own behavior is wholesome but cool. I am financially secure retired but it touched me to see what is I hope at least a beginning to humanity in politics. If nothing else...democracy dollars would change the country but that would take too long so back to the internet. Can you tell a real person, a problem solver from a politician? I see 5 politicians and 1 person campa

The winner is Bernie Sanders. Majority of the talking points Democrats use today were taboo before Bernie made them main stream. Alot of candidates including Andrew Yang (who i think is a very bright and in touch young candidate) are now able too be on the Democratic stage Because Bernie broke the barrier of what was considered weird fringe candidates. 3 cycles ago Andrew Yang would have been considered in the same boat as Dr. Stein, an extremist radical, and would have NEVER made the stage or get any media coverage. The very fact that we have that option alone is a testimony too Bernie pushing progressive values forward. If you want someone who is honest and is capable of "getting things done" it is Senator Sanders. If he can change the total conversation and culture then why would we trust anyone else to get it pushed into Law? Not only did he "write the damn bill", he sold it. Big time. He does this bye and through us the people. If we demand in mass numbers then shit gets done!!! He realizes that public pressure and sentiment is all that matters in Washington because thats what drives politicians forward. The constituents. If they dont keep us happy we find someone who will. Thats exactly what he means bye we have to have a revolution where we stand up in mass numbers and demand a way of life that WE want. Now having said all that, you want a power ticket too propel us into a new progressive era? Sanders/Yang 2020. Andrew will get the experience he needs too carry the torch Radical idea? Thats exactly what we need.

I wouldn't trust any of the so called moderate Democrats who have done less than nothing for the working class people of this country for the last fifty years. I can not recollect one decent piece of legislation the Democrats have passed that have helped me or my family. Republicans are the same way. That's why I can't believe people insist on voting in the same safe candidates backed by the main stream media time and time again and expect to get something different. When there are candidates like Gabbard, Yang and Sanders that genuinely want to help the American middle class I don't understand why people would for the all talk and no action people like the others. These three candidates are not only three of the favorites on this poll but I believe from reading countless comments that they are truly the overall favorites. The main stream media constantly smears all three of these candidates and I personally don't believe they are capable of conducting a fair poll---they all gave Trump zero chance of winning right up until he won.

I am YangGang all the way. I make my decisions based on people and ideas, not what party they belong to. I think the majority of politics is corrupt as hell, and voting for party loyalty only makes it worse. Yang has the ideas, he has the data, and he doesn't engage in the mudslinging, name calling ooze that have been part of things for so long. Just check out the NBC attack graphic from the last debate. Yang is the only person to not belittle a single competitor, and they never even TRIED to take a swing at him. In fact, many of them are beginnig to SOUND like him! Which means that even if he doesn't get the nomination, his ideas will be winners.

Unfortunately trump won because msnbc did a terrible job

Patrick, you merely validated my previous statement. If you compare the polling of three leading individuals of the Democratic Debate in real life with this poll, you will see that they are at the lowest in this poll. Coincidence? I think not. Yang, who I consider to be also a troll if not a closet Republican, has somehow taken it upon himself to bask in the newfound online popularity and claim Trump investigations should not be done. Corruption and bribery is legal in his opinion. I cannot validate any true Democrat believing this. Thankfully, Yang's popularity is isolated to the internet and kids who cannot vote. Go MATH!

The candidate that will win the nomination is Elizabeth Warren, who you can see is polled here at around 2%. Her health plan is unfeasible if not irrational in its spending, and will not pass any House or Senate, but her priorities of affordable healthcare is in the right place. That is what matters at the end of the day. Trump and his campaign mistakenly thinks that it is Vice President Joe Biden that will bring him the challenge in 2020, hence Trump bribing, yes, bribing Ukraine to investigate Biden's son Hunter and thereby Biden.

Warren is the polar opposite of Trump, from her political beliefs, to her background of coming from an impoverished family. She is also, of the leading three candidates (Biden, Warren and Sanders), the youngest one, and the one who is capable surviving the next right years with little to no health concerns. She is also the only one capable of reducing this country's ballooning deficit through her tax plan. I look forward welcoming her nomination.

Strange that MSNBC did not ask Mayor Pete re the Douglas Plan. Considering that he basically LIED big time on black support. Prominent black leaders came out saying they are not backing him and also white ppl are on the list. That made him a Trump-like politician. Moderators were definitely pro Pete, giving him lots of speaking time and softball questions. In contrast, Andrew Yang answered honestly and succinctly, even though the questions were idiotic.
Thanks to MSNBC, Lying Pete came up roses, but stinking roses.

  • Patrick - 4 years ago

Yang supporters are not Russian / Republican Trolls. We're Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and politically unaffiliated individuals who are fucking tired of the same political charade we see every damn cycle.

I agree with some of the comments above that certain candidates spoke well, handled themselves well, and were persuasive, but not a single one of them can sit down with non-democrat liberals like Yang can and convince someone he is a normal person and worth voting for. The instant that fuckwit Rachel Maddow asked her question on impeachment and identity politics I knew it was going to be a fucking rigged debate, and the fact that we had to wait 32 goddamn minutes for Yang to get a word in is evidence to the fact that the democrat elite want to keep him down.

Here's why Andrew Yang is growing support across party lines and in groups of people who are politically disenfranchised.

    1) He's not a politician and actually communicates like a normal human being

    2) He answers questions directly and with his view on solutions

    3) Does not engage in identity politics

    4) Uses data to form positions rather than just feelings

    5) Can sit down with people like Ben Shapiro, Joe Rogan, and Tucker Carlson and after a conversation of the issues and his positions, can have them saying they not only agree with him on tons of things but also respect the hell out of him. Why do you think so many people who voted for Trump last term are eagerly supporting Yang?

You're crazy if you don't think Yang is the best candidate. I don't give a FUCK who's president or who else is running. If they're not pitching real solutions like Yang, I couldn't care less.

    I heartily disagree.
Pete is absolutely the least qualified of all the candidates.
Notwithstanding the gay angle which is completely irrelevant.
The religious aspect is the biggest turn off in my opinion.
After decades of the religious right shoving their version of Christianity down our collective throats. That's the last thing I want to hear from any candidate.
Add to that he has zero legislative experience and zero support from the African American community.
You simply can't win without it

  • Brendan - 4 years ago

Andrew Yang was one who they tried to silence and he still came out on top. He needed less than 10 minutes to shoe the show nation why he is the clear choice.

  • Jake - 4 years ago

Yang was the clear winner. Buttigieg AND Warren were both called out for not answering questions. Yang had clear solutions. Anyone saying nobody won is clearly foolish.

  • Roya N/A Rostamian - 4 years ago

I am not a troll and I am not a Republican. I am a female democratic voter and I think Andrew Yang is the best candidate.

  • Anthony Loretta - 4 years ago

Yang is the obvious winner even though msnbc clearly has blacked it his campaign. Corrupt media is trying to control the election. And lone butterfly is a trump supporter. Everyone is tired of the false propaganda machine. He had the least talking time for a reason. I hope America and the need opens there eyes. The media is the sole reason Donald trump is president. They should shut up and do there jobs. Report with honesty. So msnbc and the rest of you horrible people that slur the truth be ready. We know you're full of it. #msnbcsucks. #YANGGANG

  • Lone Butterfly - 4 years ago

Don't trust the poll and the comments. These are Republican trolls behind the support for Andrew Yang. They are trying to interfere in the election just like their treasonous president, Trump.

  • Ian - 4 years ago

With MSNBC clearly against him, Andrew Yang still came out on top. Did you hear his closing statement? If this were a job interview I would hire him. He had solutions, and motivation.

Steyer's debate was way better than his last. My opinion of him improved significantly.

Gabbard came out swinging after she was finally called upon. I think she made her point and we know she is anti interventionist. Who attacked her was very telling too and predictable. The Clinton clones: Harris, Buttigieg. I understand now that these two will make us bleed.

Bernie and Warren did well again. They also reiterated their non interventionist stance. MSNBC clearly favored Warren and gave her all the advantage with 3 questions before 3 other candidates got their first.

Buttigieg maintains his place as a centrist, if you are happy with the status quo he is your guy apparently. He is running at the behest of the Clinton's if you didn't know.

Klobuchar got a lot of time too and refused to buy people cars. She shivered when she spoke, I don't know if it was fear or rage.

Harris continues to posture to exemplify how tough she is and can be. I understood this after the first debate when she mentioned her experience as a DA, now she needs to show that she is more than a bulldog.

Booker had a strong showing. I really don't know why he hasn't polled better. I have nothing critical to say about how he did. I would vote for him in the general, no questions asked.

Biden somehow forgot that Harris existed; and he apparently comes from the black community. Biden bragged that he had been in Congress since he was 29. I don't think that he should have bragged about that. That just says he comes from Washington. He also did his best impression of Ronald Reagan's message to tear down the Berlin Wall except he was telling us that America is still great. Biden also scowled more than he used to. There is clearly a change in him. He has been in the public eye longer than anyone there except maybe Andrea Mitchell. We can see the change in him and it hurts us to see it. I saw it with my grandparents and I am sure others have seen it in there aging loved ones too. He is not completely tethered to the present anymore, many of the "gaffes" he has made would not have been "gaffes" thirty or forty years ago, they would have been true then, and that is my point. He did not mis-speak when he made his mistaken comment about the only African American elected to the Senate supporting him. He wasn't speaking from the present.

  • Denise - 4 years ago

Biden proved that he was still lucid and in command of facts.

Buttigieg proved that he has a set of good plans and that his experience is relevant.

Booker proved that he was a clear thinker, intelligent, level-headed and a solid choice.

Harris proved that she was feisty and could deliver a punch.

Gabbard proved that she can take a punch and deliver a harder one in return.

Warren proved that she can talk like Bernie and pee like Hillary.

Bernie Sanders was, well, Bernie Sanders. You know what you're getting.

The winner was President Trump. None of those people are beating the President next year.

  • Bob - 4 years ago

None of these candidates have a chance to become President. Opening the debate (MSNBC) by asking about President Trump's impeachment inquiry just shows how much hatred and hostility each of these candidates have. They are such hypocrites. I do not trust any of these 10 on stage tonight. So far left for me.

  • Shelley Renee Messerli - 4 years ago

Yeah Yang is probably the best and Gabbard. Buttieg is an alright guy, but there is no way that many people will vote for him because he is gay. Sad but true. But let's face it, the one who really won is Donald Trump. People are just sick of the democrats. They are a bunch of lazy ass overpaid idiots!

  • Shelley Renee Messerli - 4 years ago

Yeah Yang is probably the best and Gabbard. But the one who really won is Trump. People are just sick of the democrats. They are a bunch of lazy ass overpaid idiots!

  • DAVID MCDONELL - 4 years ago

Bernie has been fighting for his ideas the longest and change other candidates ideas more than anyone else, Yang has some of the most novel ideas of all of them, Tulis is not afraid to call out corruption in the DNC and has been attack more than most in the media by person who never went to war, and Steyer is correct that climate change is the most important thing to do our survival depends on fixing it, these are my four favorite candidates.

  • John - 4 years ago

I like Bernie. He's consistent and ahead of the pack on most progressive issues. But in truth I would vote for any of the democrats over Trump. I think Amy K is a viable candidate and could capture some moderate votes. Yang is also electable. Ultimately I'd like to see a woman and someone of color on the ticket. We need a progressive wave to shift the direction of USA politics. for now I'll stick w Bernie.

  • Jonathan McDowell - 4 years ago

Andrew Yang was the clear winner of last night's debate.

  • SF666DUDE - 4 years ago

Pete Buttigieg - he is the most qualified. He is speaks of God, he is. Vet (have had not since George Bush - the father) he is the most centrist, he speaks the truth. Winning the presidency,I am not sure for many studies show most Americans might be for gay couples and gay marriage but the office of Presidency, for most show it is a sacred public office and has no space for any gay couple (it’s sort of like having the following mindset: one is ok with others being gay, one might even have good friends that are gay, one might even attend a gay wedding etc. BUT at the same time one has no tolerance accepting - not capable to accept his son or daughter to be gay) Ironically many studies show that most people wouldnt care if the next president was straight or gay BUT IF GAY....he need not to have a partner. (A bit like recents ideologies about gay men that can’t be a solders and serve their country, for they would not be able to be in such close space with other men and not want to sleep with all of them rather than fighting the enemy) Some of the same Studies took it further and indicated that most people would simply prefer that possible gay man who might win the presidency to be absolutely single. The participants of the studies clearly indicated that they would not be comfortable with having the same sex partner sharing the highest and most sacred public office with the gay president. So as Pete Buttigieg is most likely the most qualified person all around and even maybe most liked for his obvious high standard integrity, regretfully on election day, people will not vote for a partnered gay presidential candidate.

  • Jeremy Crowder - 4 years ago

Andrew Yang had the best quote. To Putin " Sorry I beat your guy".

  • Bob B - 4 years ago

Given the amount of time to speak, if all was equal the Yang guy stood out the most. He is being underestimated in my opinion. How does a guy with no experience whatsoever make it this far. I’d start taking him seriously.

  • Jill - 4 years ago

Andrew Yang. It wasn’t his most amazing debate performance but he had several poignant answers and is the most genuine & solutions oriented candidate on the stage. To anyone reading these comments, please make sure to check out Yang in at least one of his long form inverviews on YouTube or podcasts. He’s done the joe Rogan podcast, ben Shapiro, Dave Rubin, breakfast club, many others. This will help you understand what a great man with great ideas he is, and how he could truly help reshape our society for the better. He’s a true problem solver and not a politician.

  • Peter - 4 years ago

Yang is the most electable of the candidates.

If more democrats would actually listen to him they'd feel the same.

He seeks the truth. He is for the people and has a strong grasp on every issue.

    He only deals in facts.

Doesnt mess around with identity politics.

Is working on solutions not smear campaigns.

NOBODY has taken him to task on any of his issues.

    Ya know why?

Because what he stands for goes against what the media and the establishment want.

They want divisive dumbed down rhetoric that easily manipulates the general public.

Having Yang representing the democratic party wouldn't just be good for the people.

It would be good for Donald Trump!

He wouldn't engage with Trump with all his trash talk. He is narcissist proof. His laid back, funny and witty demeanor is kryptonite to simple minded narcissists. Trump would then have to deal in facts.

Then that could open the door for your libertarians to have more of a voice.

Yang is getting the moderate vote like nobodies business right now and it's because moderates are tired of the same old bullshit the establishment dems and Republicans always spout.

    Go Yang!

  • Tom - 4 years ago

Bernie, time and time again. Proven track record, and a person of dignity and vision.

  • MaryAnne - 4 years ago

Unfortunately and sadly none of the democratic candidates are electable. They are weak in their responses to the moderaters questions. Any one of them will be hard pressed to stand toe to toe with Donald Trump.

  • Vincent - 4 years ago

Yang says the most with the least speaking time as per usual.

  • Shaaron - 4 years ago

Yang has won every debate. You can't eat platitudes and plans. Yang has solutions!

  • Derrick - 4 years ago

If you actually saw the debate, Andrew Yang clearly won with his solid fact-based policies and answers!

  • John - 4 years ago

    Kamala Harris won

  • Me - 4 years ago

As a former swing voter, the winner of tonight’s debate was absolutely clear: Donald J. Trump won. The Democrats have nobody electable.

  • Elizabeth - 4 years ago

    None...they are all idiots.
