  • Evan Prater, Wyoming – He scored his 28th rushing touchdown of the season, 14th in the playoffs, in the 35-14 loss to Clyde in the state semifinals. The senior couldn't find an open receiver, reversed field and broke several tackles en route to a 34-yard score that ignited the Wyoming crowd on a frigid night in Union County.

  • Cameron Hergott, Beechwood – He put Beechwood on the board for the Tigers’ only score in the 35-7 loss to Mayfield, a 43-yard touchdown pass to Mason Parker. He was 9-for-25 passing for 120 yards and had 56 rushing yards.

  • Caleb Jacob, Covington Catholic – The quarterback made sure the Colonels would earn their trip back to Lexington with the 28-0 win over Bowling Green. He completed 16 of 24 passes for 240 yards and three touchdowns.

  • Gi’Bran Payne, La Salle – The sophomore caught a 59-yard touchdown pass from last week’s football player of the week winner Zach Branam, zigging and zagging across the field to reach the end zone in the 35=21 win over Toledo Central Catholic Nov. 29.

  • Evan Vollmer, Elder – The senior wide receiver caught his longest reception for the season – 55 yards – and scored the opening touchdown in the 31-24 win over Springfield in the Division I state semifinal. He had 11 receptions for 117 yards.
