I had hoped that Trudeau had been humbled by his disastrous election results. Apparently not.

He continues to act like an arrogant, immature rich kid.

    What an embarrassment.

Way to Go Justin keep up the good work bud...

It was private conversation. Nobody else's business. If I was him, I would have blasted trump the chump a lot worse.

Trudeau is a world leader and should behave like one. Canada is a voice of reason and this behaviour does nothing to add to that standing. With the exception of 40% of Americans everyone on the planet knows trumps a clown, a dangerous one, but still a clown. His job is to help guide the rest of the sane world to navigate trumps impact to the least amount of damage possible. Pissing off a clown does little to help.

Trudeau is a yoyo keep his mouth shut

Trump being the way he is, shouldn't be a justifiable reason for other world leaders to lower themselves to his level. Sets a bad example for future generations. Confident, self respected individuals need to display a better sense of pride and humbleness. None of which defines Trudeau. Not a proud moment this was for the sensible Canadians, who share these would be simple and humble views.

It’s fair game! Donald Trump likes to dish it out to all the other world leaders, who are laughing at him every chance they get, but he can’t take the criticism as he has thin skin. If you disrespect people, like Trump does, why would you get any respect back!

Good for Trudeau, who is unfairly being signalled out, as he was not the only one in the conversation! It’s just that you couldn’t hear the others.

This PM Trudeau is not a leader his action we all canadian will pay for it , I hope people voted for him realized what character he is , get him out of office before he does further damage to Canada reputation.

All leaders need to act like adults.
We wonder what’s wrong with our kids today, look at our immature adults & leaders backstabbing at the first chance.
    Grow up!

  • Darren Weitzel - 4 years ago

To the comment they were fair...he said them behind his back...just like a school girl gossiping to be in with the cool kids...I'm sorry school person...
They guy is the laughing stock ... And I'm talking about Trudeau...

JT is a black faced... I mean two faced, immature hipocrite!! He should keep his mouth shut cuz there's a huge population in Canada who, for the life of us, can't figure out how this ummm dolt got ummm reelected ahhhhhh and put ummm back into ahhhh power! The guy is an idiot who makes Canada look ridiculous!

Why does it matter Trump makes nasty comments about everyone and is no saint. What business does anyone have eavesdropping on casual conversations can people not comment on anything at all unless they are Donald Trump?

  • Linda May - 4 years ago

    Trudeau is a bully.

  • Joan O'Leary - 4 years ago

Eavesdropping on a conversation is more reprehensible than what Trudeau was relating to other foreign leaders. And, what about what the other members of the group were saying? The Trudeau haters are making a mountain out of a molehill and are using these one-sided comments as an excuse for another ad hominem attack.

  • Cyarra - 4 years ago

Of course he was two-faced. I mean even Boris Johnson was having at Trump and when it comes to the Don he kisses both cheeks and the hole. All politicians are two-faced when talking to Trump. They know they have to when you are dealing with someone who has a narcissistic personality and control of the USA's highest office (for now).

Regardless weather you love or hate DT, Trudeau represents The people of Canada not Barnes and Bailey circus.. the idiot needs to grow up

  • Wayne - 4 years ago

Regardless of what you think about Donald Trump, Justin's childish embarrassing behavior is unprofessional. He is not fit to rule a country. If you look more closely at the videos he looks half cut. Just an embarrassment to our once great nation. Let's get this non confidence vote moving.

  • Ralph - 4 years ago

Compared to the hateful comments & outrageous lies DT spreads JT’s comments where pretty mild and kind of funny .

  • M dionne - 4 years ago

Where ever Trudeau goes he messes up this is part of his childish character. You can tell he is a dictator and has no respect for the world and mostly Canadians

  • Dmitri Barbu - 4 years ago

This isn't about a mirror response. If for any reason JT felt like he needed to show his frustration with DT, he should have done it like a man during his NATO contribution discussion. Not many people get to be a leader of a proud nation. JT needs to at least try to live up to that title. This indespicable incident, can be with confidence described as political prostitution. This would be frowned upon under ordinary circumstances, not to mention political leadership level.

I am not a fan of Trudeau, however, in this event I see no problem. Trump's ego will not allow him to be wrong. If someone stood him up there would be no end to the howling. Suck it up Trump, contrary to you opinion you are not the most important person ever!

  • Chris Finnigan - 4 years ago

With the track record of stupidity and arrogance the Canadian PM has displayed in the past and continues to do I think 2 faced was actually a pretty nice comment. He is an embarrassment on the international stage!! Hopefully PM Butts gets a grip, or at least a muzzle on his puppet soon!!

  • Margo Lee - 4 years ago

Canada will pay dearly for this insult by JT. It isn't about JT standing up to DT. He didn't. He said it behind his back. JT is dangerous. He hasn't learnt a thing from previous embarrassing behaviour. If DT is in the White House for another 5 years we had better get JT out of the PM office.

  • Eileen - 4 years ago

DT is a boor and he deserves whatever gets dished at him. He has no qualms saying or tweeting hurtful, degrading, insulting, or fantastical lies about anyone. What JT has allegedly said doesn't compare to what has spewed from the cheater and liar currently known as US President.

  • himself - 4 years ago

It is about time someone stood up to him. He gets away with everything so time for him to face the music

  • James Corrigan - 4 years ago

Trump has said all kinds of things about other people including world leaders so if you are against Trudeau saying this then you must be a Trumpster .

  • Jack Thorgeirson - 4 years ago

To those who are part of the poll question, "He should not have spoken that way about the U.S. President, I wonder what your reaction would be if Trump had said the same thing about our Prime Minister.
I polled "They were fair comments and should be downplayed" and am proud that I did and even though I am not a Liberal it is nice to see the PM not cowtowing to him. The media is make much of their interpretation that he got "caught", has anyone ever wondered if it was not deliberate. The leaders all know and expect their conversations are most likely being recorded so.......

    To much ado about nothing!
