Very much so. I played, I've coached, and I still referee. My daughter played rep hockey and still plays almost year round. She was also a referee. She gives back now as an Assistant Coach for the girls PeeWee Rep Timberwolves in WIlliams Lake.
My son also played rep hockey all through his minor hockey days. He too was a referee. Finally, as for my wife, she never played,refereed or coached. She did, however, have the toughest job of all....SHE WAS A HOCKEY MOM!!! The driver, baker, meal maker, dressing room monitor (PEE-EW).
