Wow! That is so cool! Not just for you, but I'm sure that's enhanced the authors' lives as well.

I have been extremely fortunate - several different authors reached out to me after reviews and then personal emails with them. One even dedicated her book to me! Talk about feeling honored. One still writes asking questions how my son is doing after leaving the army - he was writing a "soldier" story and I reviewed with a few personal notes about his real portrayal, and he emailed through many stories for my or my son's opinion. He even chose to give part of his book sales to the choice of my son's favorite veteran charity! Again, very honored. One author continues to email just to check in if he doesn't see a review to make sure I am still enjoying his series. One lovely author sent me a birthday box of signed books, a mousepad, and a few other tidbits for continuing to encourage her over the years. So yes, authors really appreciate hearing from readers! And readers really appreciate knowing authors listen to their reviews. Good question!!
