Cody Minor, Ashwaubenon wrestling: The defending Division 1 champion at 113 pounds won at 132 pounds at the Kimberly Papermaker Invitational on Saturday.
Sammy Opichka, Green Bay Notre Dame girls basketball: The junior guard, who has an offer from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, scored a game-high 17 points in a win against Luxemburg-Casco and a game-high 19 in a win against Sheboygan South.
Alex Thomson, West De Pere girls basketball: The junior guard-forward had 22 points and 20 rebounds in a win over New London and added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in a win against Ashwaubenon. She averaged 19.5 points and 12 rebounds in the Phantoms’ first four games.
