I paid $600 for 2 Apple Speakers just to take them home and realize I can only use ONE SPEAKER with my Mac Mini!! All I wanted to do is have stereo sound within Safari (for YouTube)!!!!! Apple, please fix this shit ASAP or I’m returning both of my damn speakers... not that you care or anything.

I just got myself my first ever macbook and I assumed this would be a built in thing... I mean if iphone and ipad can use dual homepod and certain built in apps can do it why can't everything! Super annoying. I hope they fix it

Grabbed a second HomePod on sale and stumbled across this glaring oversight.

i recently bought a pair of HomePods so i AM invested... how could they NOT implement across the board. I shouldn’t have to get lost in the support forums to figure out how to re-eq for the room after moving the units (give me a button under details) or the misnamed “sound check” option for volume balance !?!?! Their cool stuff is getting burdened with ease of use challenges. Ever get your settings on your phone get reset to Apple defaults after an IOS upgrade?!?!?

Probably the latency is still too high for a desktop. It may not be that Apple doesn’t want it but rather it is not possible at the moments. Hopefully a future update for both Mac and HomePod will make it possible.
For shame apple, for shame.
