How do you characterize the Steelers season?

Notwitstanding the behavior of Brown & Bell, their absence exposes Tomlin's ineptness in game & clock management. He gives Andy Reid a run for his money as the worst clock manager in all of the NFL. It is clear that his personnel management should also be questioned, demonstarted by his lack of leadership in the locker room... there is no sense of player or team loyalty when you get upclose to his interactions with the players. All the talent that he has been provided should have delivered much better results.

For the people who have a problem with Coach Tomlin. Pack your bags and move to Cleveland or Cincinnati, bye be gone. True STEELER fans don't talk s&%t. With no quarterback. Sorry fellas. Tomlin did a great job. Wr Washington did outstanding too. I could go on. Burg boys and ladies keep quiet and play hard nose FOOTBALL.

Offense needs a lot of work. Ben is getting old & the Steelers should have an eye for a quality replacement. Wide receiver help needed to balance out Ju Ju. Durable running back help also needed. Defense really needs to work on their tackling skills in the secondary. Tomlin gambles to much at times making the wrong decisions. I’ve been a Steelers fan since 1963. To me this is close to being considered one our worst teams almost. Too much turmoil, too much celebrating, & not enough seriousness being displayed by all parties when it comes to getting the job done. Disappointed greatly, but I will always be a Steelers fan for life through thick and thin.

I ask those who constantly call for Mike Tomlin's head, how many have made the playoffs with a third string quarterback, an often injured starting RB, a veteran wide receiver that needed to be cut because he couldn't catch the ball, an under achieving OL, I could go on but all saw this season unfold. Tomlin doesn't block, tackle, catch passes, or run the ball. Tell me what he would he have done with talent Cleveland has, they made the playoffs right? Oh! They actually finished with a worse record than the Steelers. Mike Tomlin did a fantastic job with the players he had to work with and time in which he had to work with them, you people need to get real, or maybe you are and maybe you have a problem with the color of his skin

I think if you take the time to understand what really happened this season you may realize what a phenomenal coaching job Coach Tomlin and his team did this year. I have a tendency to be as critical of our coaches as anyone but I have a different mindset on this year. We lost our top 2 quarterbacks along with countless other injuries. To pull off what our Steelers did with an undrafted free agent 4th string Division 2 QB amongst other rookies and fill-in was phenomenal. Don’t get me erong, I think the world of Duck but to expect more from what little we had is unrealistic. To our coaches, Great job!

Without Ben it was a Tomlin Team. There is no one left for Tomlin to fall back on I have always thought the proof will eventually reveal its self and it did. Get a Coach with discipline not one that makes excuses and takes no blame.

This season I believe has finally convinced the owners and coaching staff it starts with a good if not a great defense, thanks to the acquiring of Fitzpatrick. But still need to have a good if not great running game chuck and bill knew this, end result super bowl. I look for the Steelers to start tweeking the offensive line more and go after a really good running back but let’s look at the o line a little more. Get back to Pittsburgh Steelers football that made them an iconic football team.

I say it again...the fish stinks from the head! Tomlin displays finesse and segues beautifully at post-game briefings...but look how ill prepared the team is for basic back yard brawl tactics to win (Ravens). The Jets game was awfully coached all the way. But this has gone on season after season. Stop this slide now. The fans have been drugged with “Tomlin reason” And excuses. Fire the coaches and change the culture. Art Rooney would not have tolerated it!
