Nagy didnt do a f like grade performance. He is far better than john fox who was a definite f for years. Pagani needs to get away from these prevent type defenses and let the boys eat. Attack I know that no hicks proved how good he is but the William's did great stepping in. Get off trubisky he is young. He will get better. He has an enigma in kyle long who was great for a long time but just utterly failed all year prior to IR and his play time took away from growth. Speed receivers, gabriel is tremendous and Miller yet both were sidelined so it left A rob alone and boy did he compete. Pro bowl snub. All in all nagy needs to go back and having fun with the offense and with the speed guys healthy and hopefully a tight end will help. Pagani let the big dawgs eat. Mack floyd hicks Williams, prevent type defenses do 3 things. Prevent wins, prevent forced turnovers and prevent the most dominate defense from dominating and going to mediocrity. Pressure creates turnovers and I dont care if the bears are up 20 let the D shine. Lay off of mitch no qb can play with less than a 2 second pocket. Get an o line. thank you kyle long sincerely enjoy retirement

Coaching was a huge fail all over the offense and while Nagy and Pace will push the blame towards guys they fired , Nagy is where the buck stops as it was his baby ! D- or as low as F+ since nobody ever seemed to understand the team needed to drum in fundamentals that football is built one ! They also left Ragone in place who is the reason Trubisky lacks fundamentals as well as good footwork and better arm angles ! Ragone should have been leading others out the door for a vet QB coach who is a teacher !

Coaches grade is an f. Pagani did ok but defense never improved as yr progressed. Nagy made no attempt to improve the offense or play to strengths. He was like a four yr old pounding a square peg into a round hole. O line coach made a complete mess of a good o line. Qb coach either did nothing or coached trubisky into worse footwork, reads, and mechanics. Lb coach gets a b- as two very good starters went down but backups played stellar. Mack took the last eight games off or was coached into swinging far too wide and never bullrush. Floyd improved in run and coverage but got worse on pass rush.

I would have added a minus if it was available, only because of the lost potential. In my opinion 10 deserves a B, OL D+. RB C+, TE D+, 12 gets A- other WR C, DL B-, LB B-, 39 B other saf C-, DB C+. Group grades by position with no standouts. Play calling gets its own grade D+. Nagy was constantly trying to run by suprise. Running out of passing formations for more than 1 or 2 plays at the very most is a recipe for disaster. Play action out of the I is the better option. The first 2 plays on first downs should I formations. Run or pass the D is spread thinner due to responsibilities. Fill the playbook with play-action and you have all your pass routes and plays still available but with a much stronger run ability.

Not to take much from Mitchell Trubisky, but we need a quarterback with smarts. His physical and arrow dynamics actions when throwing and running is off the hook, but he lacks confidence at times.

You can't get everyone into the mix of things if you're not running on all cylinders at least 80 to 90% of the time.
