How does one acquire experience? One has to be hired to the job. Given a chance. That's how. Berry has previous experience with the organization and evidently knows about players. Give him a chance to do his job. Then evaluate his performance. Besides, we have to have patience, at least at the outset. Instant gratification is not going to happen. I was 15 in 1964. I remember the same impatience then.

Based on Haslam's own words, he wanted to bring in people with on the job experience with head coaching & GM. These people have neither . The owners have made any Browns position "TOXIC". Coaches & GM candidates alike will opt to keep lower level positions rather than deal with the dysfunction that seems synonymous with the Browns organization. I want to be wrong about this, but recent history tells I'm not. As a Lifelong Browns Fan, father took me to the 1964 Championship game, the current leadership makes me seriously doubt that they even Want to win! They are & have been slowly choking the life out of thousands of Browns Fans just like me!

Sadly. There's no light at the end of the tunnel, its a Train
