  This bill creates a gray area that confuses our industry. It allows for individual interpretation and puts at risk the seniors we care for. As a nurse I oppose this bill as unsafe and non compliant .

  In the 5 years I have been running assisted living homes I have never met such caring dedicated people as those who work in this industry. So many of them won’t be able to stay in this Industry if this bill becomes law. The bill requires all our costs will go up without much improvement in safety. Those higher costs will have to be passed onto the elderly who are already struggling. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don’t pass this bill!
