How can you even consider blaming the men who worked hard to build the bridge?

At the concept & design stage of the new crossing was it not looked at then? There was a big deal made about the bridge never having to be closed to high sided vehicles when there is high winds, due to the wind deflection measures that were built into it. This will be impacting so many people & companies, I find it unacceptable that we are in this position when there is another bridge next door to it. That would save an additional 30 miles of a journey. We are all looking at ways to help the environment, does this really do that, I think not.
