President Trump complained the proposed prison sentence for his friend Roger Stone was "very unfair," and the DOJ is now seeking a lighter sentence. Thoughts?
7 to 9 years for just lying to Congress is a little ridiculous, so I'm siding with the DOJ on this one.
The president should stay away from politicizing the DOJ, especially when one of his confidants are involved.
What's "very unfair" is that the President — directly or indirectly — interfered (again) in an on-going criminal case. That is abuse of power!
The president should be absolutely be able to interfere with criminal cases — that's part of being president!
I don't know much about this issue / this issue does not concern me.
