  • Malachi Buchholz, Waupun boys hockey: The senior forward led Waupun to a 12-0 win over Monoma with five goals. He followed up that performance with both two goals, including the game winner, and assists during a 7-5 win against Oregon.

  • Geneva Hewitt, Winnebago Lutheran Academy girls basketball: Hewitt led WLA to three victories. She scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds against Campbellsport. The junior guard scored a career-high 28 and had six steals in a comeback win against Mayville. She posted 17 points with three 3-pointers against New Holstein.

  • Carson Nell, Winnebago Lutheran Academy boys basketball: The senior guard contributed everywhere against St. Mary’s Springs, scoring 22 points and adding five in the rebounding, assist and steal columns. He set the WLA 3-pointers made record with eight against Chicago Steinmetz and scored 30 points.
